He toke hys leave of his brethren two,
And to Carlel he is gon ; There he knocked at hys owne windowe,
Shortlye and anone.                                                 to
" Where be you, fayre Alyce, my wyfe,
And my chyldren three ? Lyghtly let in thyne owne husbande,
